I arrived to Rotterdam on the 3rd of February, behind me the xenophobia and silliness, as well as my family and my love.
I got my first experiences about the place’s tolerant calmness as recovering socio-phobic. At first I was depended on the outworn routine of my loneliness. And than stared one of the best period of my life.
Partly because of the location but first of all because of the people. I call them “mates” shyly, although I know it’s more than that.
My days were defined by seven people from different cultures for three months.
One, who is such as a friend with a common childhood.
One, who is mysterious and straight in the same time.
One, who understands me by my eyes.
One, who could be my second brother.
One, who is imitable and unrepeatable.
One, who has similar dreams.
One, who showed me what it would be like if I had a sister.
I still call them mates shyly, but they are my friends.
